A CHELSEA MAZARINE-BLUE-GROUND ORNITHOLOGICAL LARGE SHAPED-CIRCULAR DISH
CIRCA 1760, GOLD ANCHOR MARK
Painted with waterfowl and other birds perched on branches, in flight and wading amongst reeds and waterplants, within a gilt circular cartouche with interlocking C-scroll and lappet ornament, the shaped broad blue border trailed with gilt foliage and pendant husks, gilt dentil rim (several small restored rim chips, gilding refreshed, slight wear to enamels and gilding)
