CIRCA 1805, UNDERGLAZE BLUE SCEPTRE MARK ABOVE OVERGLAZE BLUE DASH, IMPRESSED NUMERALS
Of flared form, the handle formed as a snake biting its tail, the cup painted with three portraits of a lady, her head draped, between gilt anthemion and acanthus leaves between richly-gilt borders, the rim with leaf and berry ornament, the saucer similarly decorated (minor flaking to gilding)
