Octagonal box, the cover set with an oval sardonyx cameo, finely carved with a goddess fishing for love, within polished gold mount, the cover and sides of the box engine-turned with bands of horizontal and vertical reeding, bordered with translucent blue guilloché enamel within white champlevé enamel bands, the side pilasters enamelled with blue trophies
