Oval box, the engine-turned cover centred by an oval medallion enamelled en plein and depicting a lady in pink and green, seated sewing with a cat within a fluted border, in the manner of Nicolas Bernard Lépicié, the cover further enamelled with opaque white champlevé notched border and green and blue basse-taille foliage, the sides engine-turned with lozenges and stripes of horizontal and wavy reeding, the upper border chased with vitruvian scrolls, the lower border chased with twisted ribbon, the base similarly engine-turned
