Shaped oblong with shell and foliage heightened gadrooned border, the detachable cover with reed and scroll foliage handle, engraved on one side with a coat-of-arms below a viscount's coronet and on the other with two crests below a viscount's coronet, each on conforming Old Sheffield plated stand, marked on each end and on handle

The arms are those of Dillon quartering others for Charles Dillon, 12th Viscount Dillon (1745-1813). (2)
