Painted in blue and outlined in manganese with a shoulder length portrait of Queen Mary with an ochre necklace and earrings, flanked by the manganese initials QM, the border with stylised flowers and foliage suspended from tied ribbons, the underside with buff slip with a lead glaze, the footrim pierced for hanging
