See Michael Archer, Delftware. The Tin-Glazed Earthenware of the British Isles. A Catalogue of the Collection in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, 1997, p. 117, no. B.6 for a similar example where the author refers to Louis L. Lipski and Michael Archer, Dated English Delftware, London, 1984, p. 241, no. 1054 for a dated bowl of 1714 with similar elements of design on the border, indicating the present dish represents George I, rather than George II.
