Worked in satin stitch with purl, moss and detached button hole stitched details, with a central oval cartouche flanked by large floral slips, hart and unicorn above a fortified town with lion and leopard to either side, labelled to the reverse; 'City Museum and Art Gallery, Birmingham, Exhibition of Treasures from Midland Homes, 1938, The Property of Major J Dent-Brocklehurst'
