With one long compartment for pens, two for silver-mounted glass inkwells and two further for nibs, each with its own hinged cover, the pen compartment cover engraved with coat-of-arms of Royal Exchange Assurance and presentation inscription inside
11 1/8 in. (28.3 cm.) long
98 oz. (3,038 gr.)

The presentation inscription reads: Presented by the Governors and Court of Directors of the Royal Exchange Assurance to Harold Collis Brett on the occasion of his retirement after 45 years service July 1965.
