Christie's are delighted to offer for sale one of the finest wine collections ever to come to auction. This outstanding collection - Lots 1 to 135 - includes many of the world's greatest and longest-lived wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhône, Portugal and Italy which have been painstakingly amassed from reputable merchants by this most discerning collector predominantly in the 1980's and early 1990's.

The wines were recently removed from long-term professional storage under optimum temperature and humidity-controlled conditions at Octavian in Wiltshire for checking and condition reports by Christie's specialists.
