Château Mouton-Rothschild--Vintage 1952
Pauillac, 1er cru classé
Three slightly corroded capsules. Badly bin-soiled labels. Levels: one upper, one mid/upper, one mid, one mid/low, two low-shoulder
Tasting note: Seven notes, its fragrance and flavour making up for the hard tannins. Most recently: most attractive, un-Mouton nose; sweet, fleshy, assertive though not a tough '52. Last tasted Feb 2003 **** M.B.
