With inset Breche d'Arribida marble top above a slide and three drawers, the top fitted drawer inscribed No 242[?], a pencil inscription under marble Lamfire [?] 40 rue Amelot, the ormolu border and marble top replaced with subsequent alterations to structure of top, extensive refreshments to decoration, the mounts probably original but re-gilt
