LATE 19TH/20TH CENTURY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, INCISED MODEL NO. 385., IMPRESSED 143, IRON-RED PAINTED 28., THE MOVEMENT WITH IMPRESSED GB MONOGRAM, CROWNED ANCHOR MARK AND 778810
Modeled as Diana seated next to a rocaille clock case, the ormolu clock face set with enameled Roman numerals, all atop a plinth applied with the mask and wings of Father Time and painted after Watteau with a couple in landscape, a putto and his dog seated atop one of the four scroll feet
