Représenté assis en vajrasana, ses mains principales en anjalimudra, ses dix autres bras rayonnant autour de lui, les mains tenant divers attributs, vêtu d'une jupe souple, le torse nu paré d'un collier, une étoffe sur les épaules, le visage serein, le front ceint d'une tiare ouvragée dans laquelle apparaît le Bouddha Amithaba ; très petits accidents sur certaines extrémités

Avalokiteshvara, also known as Guanyin, is the Bodhisattva of Compassion and the protector of the world. The presented Avalokitesvara belongs to esoteric Buddhism with the arms symbolising his many powers for saving the world and helping followers to gain enlightenment.
