Lot Essay

The Who played five nights at Madison Square Gardens in late 1979 from September 13th through to the 18th. Significantly, Roger Daltrey was to play guitar on stage for the first time with The Who, due to Pete having to leave the stage on the 17th when he cut his hand on the controls of his guitar.
