Lot Essay

Executed for the volume Vues des plus beaux édifices publics et particuliers de la ville de Paris (Paris, circa 1787). The volume included a total of 88 views drawn by Durand and engraved by Janinet, 37 of which were included in the Christie's sale in 2004.
