With curved single-edged blade double-edged towards the point etched with 'VR' cypher and crossed sword and baton, regulation gilt brass hilt, ivory grip-scales, red and gold bullion sword-knot, in original regulation brass scabbard with two suspension rings; together with second brown leather-covered field service scabbard with plated chape
