The sword of 1887 Heavy Cavalry Officer Pattern, the blade etched with the cypher of Edward VII, with leather sword-knot and regulation steel scabbard; the uniform items comprising a khaki field service tunic with mail epaulettes and light blue collar and piping; two Sam Browne belts, one of fine quality with nickel silver fittings and two braces, sword frog and Webley revolver holster; a pair of khaki cord riding breeches and a pair of matching overalls; an officer's field service cap with silver bullion decoration and white summer cover; a khaki slouch hat; a black field service cap with black oak leaf lace to body and gold bullion ornament and piping; two white loose cap covers; a mess kit with light blue facings including overalls; a No.1 tunic, overalls and black field service cap; a Lt. Col. tunic; two field service caps and one officer's No.1 dress cap of the Northamptonshire Regiment; and two battle dress tunics, one dated 1943
