MARK OF JOHN SAMUEL HUNT, LONDON, 1863, RETAILED BY HUNT AND ROSKELL
Oblong with rounded corners, the hinged cover applied with drop-ring handle below an engraved earl's coronet and the initials CS
4 7/8 in. (12.3 cm.) wide
10.9 oz. (339 gr.)
The initials are those of Charlotte, Countess Spencer (1835-1903) wife of John Poyntz, 5th Earl Spencer (1835-1910).
