MARK OF JAMES DIXON AND SONS, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Each piece plain, comprising a sandwich box and a mounted glass flask, contained in a leather case engraved with the initials 'AEJS', the case stamped with an initial 'A' below a viscount's coronet
The case 5¼ in. (13 cm.) high
The initials are those of Albert Edward John Spencer, Viscount Althorp and later 7th Earl Spencer (1892-1975).
