LATE VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN/GEORGE V
Comprising: a plain blue leather blotter with silver mounted corners, London 1877; a green leather example with shaped mounted corners, 1901; another green leather example, the mounts Birmingham, 1918, one mount lacking; a red leather example, the plain mounts engraved 'A' below a viscount's coronet, London 1911; together with a silver-mounted leather desk holder for telegrams, the cover applied with a cypher within an earl's coronet, 'Telegram' and with silver-mounted corners, London, 1901
The cypher is that of Charles Robert, Viscount Althorp, later 6th Earl Spencer (1857-1922) (5)
