A GROUP OF OSTRICH FEATHER FANS AND A PRESENTATION HEADDRESS
EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Comprising a fine black ostrich fan with curling plumes and tortoiseshell sticks, in J. Duvelleroy box; a white ostrich-plumed headdress and silk tulle veil; a large ivory satin Duvelleroy box stamped in gilt with a 'A' beneath a coronet, containing the remains of various coloured ostrich fans and plumes; and an ostrich feather fan in an arched oak display case with mother-of-pearl sticks
The case - 22¾ in. (58 cm.) high; 34 in. (86.5 cm.) wide

Headdress worn by Countess Spencer when presented at court to H.M. King George VI in August 1938.
