A Chinese famille rose dish and a pair of soup-plates
Qianlong (1735-1796)
The dish enamelled to the centre with a large spray of peonies and daisies, surrounded at the well by clusters of lotus and finger-citrus, a whorl-pattern band at the rim, 28.6 cm. diam.; and a pair of soup-plates enamelled with a pair of pheasants perched on rockwork in a flower-garden, surrounded by floral clusters at the rim, 22.6 cm. diam., minor rim frits, rim crack (3)
