Applied with short, straight spout and loop handle, painted in vibrant enamels and gilt with a bird perched on rockwork beside flowering branches, the reverse with another bird seated on branches of peony issuing from a banded hedge, further enamelled with a tiger chasing an insect beneath the spout and on the cover, some gilt rubbing
