A Northern European silver cruet stand and bottles and three pairs of silver salt cellars
Apparently unmarked, circa 1800; only stamped 'HOFFMAN', circa 1800; marks indistinct
The cruet stand with oval base on four bracket feet, the raised sides pierced with rectangular patterns, supporting four openwork floral bottle frames, holding four lavender-blue glass liners; a pair of oval salt cellars and blue glass liners with similar openwork floral sides; a pair of oval salt cellars and lavender-blue glass liners with vertical openwork sides between laurel wreaths above the four feet; and a pair of cylindrical salts and lavender-blue glass liners raised on three high feet, with overhead swing handle
The cruet stand 27 cm. wide
900 gr. (without the liners)
Together with a set of three, a pair and one salt spoon, some stamped '800' (17)
