SIGNED AUDEMARS PIGUET, CIRCA 1990

With skeletonised nickel finished lever movement, 36 jewels, 21 carat gold edged rotor, engraved number 14 on the hand-sawn rotor, the hand-engraved pink gold dial showing a Ferrari 'Dino' with racing flags, in circular case with glazed back, Audemars Piguet gold buckle, presentation wallet and outer presentation box, case, dial and movement signed.

Lot Essay

Only 15 examples of this watch were manufactured in 1990 for the 50th anniversary of this italian sports car. The watches are numbered from 1 to 16 (there is no number 13), the number is engraved on the rotor. A similar watch is illustrated in Audemars Piguet by G.L. Brunner, C. Pfeiffer-Belli, M.K. Wehrli, p. 273.
