Presented to Alderman John Pugh Gregory J.P. by the Caernavon Corporation in 1933, the stepped cover with laurel-pierced handle incoporating the recipient's monogram, applied with four Prince of Wales's feathers, enamelled arms of Edward II and Prince of Wales at respective ends and on one side an enamelled view of Caernavon Castle from across the River Seiont, on stylised hoof feet, lined in cream silk
