TWO PALE GREY-GREEN AND BROWN JADE BLADES
SHANG DYNASTY, 1500-1200 BC
One a narrow blade tapering towards the rounded end and with a biconical hole at the other end, the stone now opaque and of mottled grey-green and buff color, with cutting marks on one side; one thin, and of translucent stone of pale grey-green color with dark brown alteration at one end and along one beveled edge, drilled with two conical holes; together with an opaque mottled greyish-green jade blade (dao), Neolithic period, of somewhat trapezoidal form, drilled with two conical holes, the blade tapering from the slightly concave upper edge to the cutting edge which is beveled on both sides, with satiny polish
