NEOLITHIC PERIOD, LIANGZHU CULTURE, CIRCA 2500 BC
Of tubular form with squared projecting corners, each carved with two stacked masks detailed with a slightly concave strip carved with the eyes set between the fine horizontal lines indicating the hair or headdress above and the small nose below, the pale olive-green stone with some russet and opaque buff markings
