FOUR SMALL JADE ORNAMENTS
EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, 6TH-3RD CENTURY BC
Comprising: a small grey-green disc of notched outline, carved in low relief on both sides with zoomorphic scrolls; a flat translucent disc finely carved on one side with three concentric bands of scrolls, pierced for attachment; a flat opaque disc carved on both sides with scrolls, the inner and outer rims notched, with two birds projecting from the outer rim; and a semi-translucent huang of pale olive-white and brown color, carved on both sides with commas between tiger heads at the pierced ends
1 3/8, 1 7/8, 1 7/8 and 3 1/8 in. (3.6, 4.7, 4.7 and 8 cm.) across (4)
