Edo period (17th-18th Century), both stirrups signed Bishu Ono ju Fujiwara Shigehisa saku and also inlaid Moriie saku (by Moriie)
A pair of iron stirrups decorated with cherry blossoms and stylized foliate design, in flush-inlaid gold and silver and with large inlaid silver whorls to the front, the wood insteps with red lacquer and mother-of-pearl inlay
