A pair of mixed-metal vases and two enamelled-silver tripod incense burners (koro)
Meiji period (late 19th century)
The matching miniature baluster vases on stepped bases with three bracket feet decorated in inlaid gold, silver and shibuichi with cranes amongst water reeds; the koro of globular form with raised-relief cherry blossoms and maple leaves, respectively, some enamelled green or red, floating on a stream, domed covers, on three short cylindrical legs, each signed Nemoto zo on base on shaped plaque
