A pair of silver and gilt presentation vases
Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Yukawa Hozan kinkoku, sealed jungin (pure silver) and with two other seals
Each of tapering ovoid form with high, flat shoulders rising to the flared rim, chiseled and gilded with a dragonfly below arching rice stalks and with dragonflies and millet, respectively, a gilded chrysanthemum crest in relief on each neck
