A bronze figure of Avalokiteshvara
Tibet, 14th/15th century
Standing on a double-lotus base with beaded rims, the primary hands in prayer and holding flowers, a mala, a lotus flower, and kundika, wearing a thickly pleated dhoti with incised floral designs and beaded jewelry inlaid with hardstones, a Krishnasara deer skin draped over his left shoulder, all eleven faces in meditative expressions
