A small gilt bronze figure of a bodhisattva
Nepal, 15th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with beaded rim, hands in dharmachakramudra, wearing a dhoti incised with triangular pattern at the hem, adorned with jewelry inlaid with hardstones, the serene face with elongated eyes and raised urna, the hair secured by a foliate tiara and pulled back into a chignon and topped with a vajra
