South India, Karnataka, Hoysala Dynasty, late 12th/13th century
The relief with Shiva Virabhadra, Brahmani, Maheshvari, Kaumari and Vaishnavi seated in lalitasana on thrones with their animal vehicle at the base, holding various implements and richly adorned with ornate jewelry and crowns, each backed by a beaded and foliate halo centered with a kirttimukha mask
