Lot Essay

The long inscription on verso reads "Sri Maharaja Dhiraja Raja Rajendra Shri Savai Iss Singhji," and the upper (and probably later) inscription reads "Shri Maharaja Isavari Singhji of Jaipur." This second inscription suggests this was given as a gift.
