A CARVED WHITE JADE SNUFF BOTTLE

Of flattened form with flat lip and flat foot, carved as a large pomegranate with a leafy branch growing along one side, bearing a smaller fruit and a lychee, the stone of even white tone, rose quartz stopper
2½ in. (6.3 cm.) high
Provenance
Acquired by the grandfather of the present owners, Whampoa, Guangdong, circa 1890-1911, thence by descent within the family.
