A SET OF THREE ZITAN SOUTHERN OFFICIAL'S HAT ARMCHAIRS, NANGUANMAOYI
With stepped crest rail above shaped spandrels carved with small scrolls and the S-form splat carved with a tasseled chime suspended from a single ruyi head, the curved arm rails above similarly shaped and carved spandrels and supported on vertical struts, the recessed zitan seat set within the rectangular frame above shaped, beaded aprons carved with a single bat on the front, the whole supported on legs of rounded square section joined by stretchers and the foot rest
