A ROCK CRYSTAL BRUSH REST
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Carved in openwork as rocky peaks, with a pine tree growing from one side, its branches highlighted by the greyish skin or coloring in the stone, with a dragon standing atop the peaks at the other end peering down at a carp rising from the waves that lap the base; together with a large rock crystal belthook, 18th/19th century, finely carved with faceted shaft and dragon-head hook, with a circular button on the underside
