A gilt-bronze figure of a bodhisattva, of this type and date, which stands on a pedestal between two smaller figures, is illustrated in the exhibition catalogue, Zui tou no bijutsu, The Osaka Municipal Museum of Fine Art, 1976, p. 45, no. 3-50. Another, in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is illustrated by C. Deydier, Chinese Bronzes, Paris, 1980, p. 160, pl. 126.
