The 308 GTB range of cars was the mainstay of production-run Ferraris through the 1970s. They featured a body design by Pininfarina that was both modern and functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. The cars evolved through quite a number of models, beginning with the standard 308 GTB, GTS Spider, then through fuel injection versions followed by quattrovalvole versions. All of them had a healthy and loyal following and they are well mannered, enjoyable road cars.

This 1985 car is one such GTSi which was purchased new from the main Swiss Ferrari agent and which has remained in the same ownership since that time. The car has standard red paintwork with tan leather upholstery and a black removable targa panel. The odometer shows just over 8,600kms and the car has, of course, a tool roll, tool bag, fire extinguisher and Owners Manual. It is also fitted with air conditioning. On a recent test drive the car drove and performed well; it could easily be used as an everyday sportscar as well as being suitable for more long distance touring or for participation in Ferrari Club meetings.
