Autograph letter (jokingly signed 'Marie') to Charles Seymour Wright ('Darling Silasia'), 'In the galley', 26-27 July n.y., a light-hearted disquisition on time calculations with relation to longitude, one page, folio (annotated at foot by recipient), facetious rhyming address panel on verso 'To Charles Seymore [sic] Wright', with two autograph poems, 'Fed Up' ('As through the leaden hours I sit') and 'The Navigator's Lament' in a similar tone, two pages, 4to (some soiling); and a corrected typescript of a poem, 'The Barrier Berg' ('Breasting the slow-heaving limitless swell') by Frank Debenham, prompted by the break-up of an iceberg in Backdoor Bay in February 1911, one page, 4to (worn and slightly soiled at margins).
