Decorated to the central roundel with a pair of pheasants perched on rockwork between abundant sprays of chrysanthemum, peony and prunus, surrounded by radiating panels of various flower-sprays and birds, the rim reserved with six cartouches enclosing Scholar's Objects reserved on a diaper-pattern ground, rim fritted, rim polished to the reverse, some polished frits, small frits and chips
