The clock case modelled as a cartouche applied with a flower garland and supported by the figure of Diana the Huntress, seated on a rocaille plinth painted with a vignette of a lady and gentleman in a wooded landscape and applied with a winged mask of Father Time and a putto petting Diana's hound, on four scroll feet, the gilt-metal-mounted dial painted in black and gilding with Roman numerals
