The demilune galleried grey-veined white marble top above a central drawer flanked by a pair of doors, on tapering legs, stamped F. SCHEY to right rear upright and I DUBOIS to lower rear rail

Fidelis Schey, maître in 1788.
René Dubois, maître in 1755.
René Dubois was the son of the well-known ébéniste Jacques Dubois (1694-1763) at whose death he took over the workshop, continuing to use his father's stamp.
