Comprising a corner canapé and four side chairs: each with acanthus-carved frame, padded back and seat and on cabriole legs, the Aubusson-style canapé tapestry depicting singing troubadours between floral bouquets, the chairs with figures emblematic of the Arts; some stamped to the underside 'A. HUGNET/AMEUBLEMENTS/PARIS/69 FAUBG ST ANTOINE. 69'; together with a pair of associated caned giltwood chairs and a circular marble-topped giltwood occasional table
