Feather-banded overall, the hinged flap with a book rest revealing a fitted stepped interior with five drawers, a well and pale green velvet-lined writing surface above a later velvet-lined and weighted drawer on tapering turned and facetted legs joined by curved stretchers on turned feet, metalwork replaced, two internal drawers replaced
