CASE: of obelisk form, with scroll and laurel leaf mounts and topped by an eagle, flanked by two pairs of columns, each with balustraded galleries and flowering urns, chains suspended between, the base with mask and lion pelt mounts, on toupie feet and further plinth DIAL: white enamel, with inner date ring, signed 'Landin/A PARIS', ormolu main hands, blued steel date hand MOVEMENT: silk suspension to anchor escapement, countwheel strike on bell; pendulum, winding key
