The rectangular top crossbanded with satinwood, with ebony stringing, above a similar frieze, on square tapering supports, headed by fluted blocks and waisted feet, handles probably added at a later date
34¾ in (88 cm.) high; 45 in. (104 cm.) wide; 24 in. (61 cm.) deep
Provenance
Probably John, 3rd Duke of Roxburghe, Floors Castle, Roxburghshire, and by descent until sold by order of His Grace the Duke of Roxburghe and Roxburghe Estates, Christie's house sale, 17 September 1990, lot 120.
